Burnsall in Wharfedale - one of the few totally unspoiled villages left in the whole of the country remains much the same way it has been for centuries. The great oxbow of the River Wharfe curves its way sleepily under the magnificent five arch bridge and on through the village - which nestles at the foot of the imposing Burnsall Fell.
The Red Lion at Burnsall, a 16th Century Ferryman's Inn, is situated in the heart of the village next to the river and is a successful conference venue for local and national companies.
We have three conference rooms available each have been recently built, they combine the best of business facilities with the ambience and character of a traditional country village Inn. The conference rooms are light and airy, and are situated in a quiet position at the rear of the hotel, with excellent views of the river. The rooms have Broadband and all the usual audio visual equipment.

The Garden Room which is the smaller of the rooms will accommodate up to 20 persons. The Riverside Room - with wood burning stove and direct access to the terrace will accommodate up to 40 persons, whereas the larger Terrace Room is for up to 60 delegates. All 3 rooms may be combined for a larger conference.
Should you wish to stay the night, the Red Lion has 25 en-suite bedrooms and 3 two bedroomed cottage suites- all individual designed and furnished - successfully combining modern facilities with antique furnishings. The rooms have beautiful views over the river, fell and village - a tranquil environment to produce a superb stress-free nights sleep!
Our special Dinner, Bed and Breakfast package ensure your delegates can enjoy an excellent three course meal in our dining room in the evening and then join the locals for convivial company in the traditional oak paneled Dales bar. What better way to wind down from a hard day's work or to relax the night before your meeting?
